Metamorphic Dream

Standing alone, watching the tide roll in,
Thinking of places, I've never been,
Seeing things go, then come back again,

Now I know what I lost,
now I know, what it cost,
I see a pillar of fears,
I see a wall, of broken mirrors,

Standing alone,
watching the tide roll in Everything has changed,
all my friends, their minds rearranged,
is it the world I see, or is it all,
just a metamorphic dream...

News as an arrangement of views,
meant to distort and confuse,
news as an arrangement of views,
never knowing of its truths...

Watching my mind run free,
listening to the sounds I see,
is it the world I see, or is it all,
part of a metamorphic dream...
